What we do
Compare Hotel Booking is a small editorial project that helps travelers pick a hotel without spending an evening jumping between booking sites. We currently cover three cities in depth — Paris, Nice and Barcelona — and we plan to grow slowly, one well-researched destination at a time.
How we choose hotels
Every hotel on the site has a score based on three honest dimensions: reputation (verified guest reviews), price (compared against the local market) and location (distance to the actual reasons people visit the city). We do not boost hotels that pay us — every score is computed the same way.
Our model, in plain English
The site is free to use. We make money in two ways: a small share of bookings made through our affiliate links to platforms like Booking.com and Hotels.com, and a few non-intrusive Google ads. We never resell your data, we never add hidden fees, and we never write a glowing review in exchange for a commission.
Why an editorial layer
Most hotel comparison sites push you toward whatever pays them most this week. We do the opposite — we write opinionated city guides, point out trade-offs (yes, even when the cheapest option has noisy streets), and tell you what each neighborhood actually feels like. If a city doesn't have enough quality data yet, we say so rather than padding the page.
Found something wrong, or a hotel we should add? Drop us a line — we read everything.
